Adams- Old Adams Hospital
The hospital is boarded up now, but activity started there while it was still open.  People reported dead patients coming back and walking the halls.  People still hear the screams from within the hospital and see people looking at them from inside the building.

Billerica- Dudley Road
In the woods there are the remnants of an old hospital long abandoned.  People have reported hearing screams and chains while walking on the road.  One even spoke of an older woman, chains around her feet, appearing out of nowhere and then disappearing as she walked by him.  There are also stories of paranormal occurrences happening to people after they have been down the road, like something has followed them back
Danvers State Prison
The Danvers hospital is one of the most intimidating locations in all of Massachusetts, and the reality it held for many of its patients, especially in its final days, rivals the horrors now spoken of about it. It was the setting for the thriller Session 9 and is considered the prized gem of paranormal research in Massachusetts.

Howland-Goss Secure Treatment
This is another location suggested by old students of mind, although I have not had any staff back up claims.  It is another treatment center for young men in DYS, although there seems to be more disturbed kids that come from there.  There are a lot of sex offenders, arsonists and drug abusers.  Several of my students reported figures in the room at night and noises coming from empty rooms.  Two reported waking and seeing their door, locked every night, open.
I take his with a grain of salt, but the reports seem genuine.  Many students questioned new residents from Goss when they first arrived to see if they had experienced anything.

Fort Warren -Boston

This is one of the richest and least known legends in all Massachusetts, made more real by the more modern reports that keep it alive.  Located on George's Island, it was a former prison that now acts as a National Recreation Area.  When it was a prison, Lt. Andrew Lanier was captured there and asked his new wife to sneak in for a visit.  She dressed as a man and went to the prison.  Lanier made a plan to escape, but a miscalculation lead to them getting caught.  His wife accidentally shot him and was sentenced to hang.  Per her request, she was dressed in a black robe and shot.

Since then, her figure has been seen on the island, often in the place of her and her husband's meeting place.  There have been footprints in the snow and several men have shot at her.
